This is a fundamental course for all professionals working in the field of steel structure design and construction or needing to enhance any basic concept of steel behaviour. The course focuses on the design of structural elements subjected to various types of loads and their connections. In addition to design methods, the course covers topics on the fabrication and assembling of steel structures.

This class focuses on the study of connections used in the construction of steel buildings. We cover the design of articulated resistant connections and moment connections subject to gravity and lateral loads due to wind and seisms.

In the Telecommunications Towers Design class, we study the various stages involving the design and the construction of steel telecommunication towers in accordance to ANSI/TIA-222-G specifications

The steel structure design for seismic events is divided into two sections. In the first section, we review the principles of seismic engineering, studying the bases to determine seismic loads and structural analyses in accordance to construction codes. The second section is dedicated to the study of various systems resistant to seismic loads, their design and their execution.

A fundamental course for the design and construction of steel bridges. The first section is dedicated to the study of loads. At the same time, we analise the behaviour of a steel bridge and explain the concept of lines and influence surfaces. The second section is focused on the design of the different components of a structural steel bridge.
